Mountain View Elementary School
Welcome to Mountain View Elementary School!

Mountain View Elementary School was first established in 1909 in the historic South Valley, then rebuilt in 2017 as a LEED School. Mountain View Elementary received a MSAP grant in 2023 to be part of a STEM Magnet Pathway.

Environmental STEM

We offer STEM focused thematic instruction through hands-on projects focused on sustainability, conservation, and environmental stewardship. Activities include garen projects, recycling initiatives, and exploring sustainable technologies such as renewable energy.

Bilingual Education at Mountain View

The goal is to graduate students who are proficient in English and their home language in all four modalities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students receive daily instruction in English, their home language (where available), and the cultures of New Mexico.
